NIUBOI's workshop in Lighting and Stage Management for Dance will provide participants with the theatrical jargon to communicate the choreographer's vision to a designer or stage manager and to get through a level set with confidence.

Mile Zero Dance presents a queer class series, co-creation, and safe space initiative called Netwerk co-facilitated by Board President and dancer Tyler Sherard.
In this workshop, we will begin with a discussion of how best to personalize and queer the space to the participants. Then, we will use powerstancing techniques to prepare the body to move. Lastly, we will use these powerful shapes to create improvised movement with confidence and joy.
We may use make sounds and use words during our improv.
No dance experience required.
